We meet every Thursday night at 7:00 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor (UUSB), 120 Park Street Bangor, Maine.

We sing until 9:00 pm though the circle is open and women are welcome to freely come and go.

Women ages 8 years old and babes in arms are always welcome.

On the first and third Thursdays, girls of any age are welcome for the first hour.  NEW women are always encouraged!!

Come to the lower door with the short ramp at the Unitarian Universalist Church and ring the doorbell.  We will welcome you in!

The group ranges in size anywhere from 5 to 50 women.

We sing simple songs and chants from the heart in an informal and comfortable setting. We use the tenets of the living oral tradition - no sheet music - we just "go with the flow"! No skill or particular quality of voice is required.  We sing because we love to.  We sing to discover and embrace our selves, and to connect with each other and the world around us.

There is a suggested donation of $3-$5 per night (more if you can, less if you can't) to help cover our expenses.

***Please note:  The Weekly Singing Circle is SCENT FREE.  Please refrain from using any scents when coming to sing.
